The Monmouth College Writing Center peer tutors, who come from majors across campus, work with writers from any major, with any ability level, at any stage of their writing process, from planning to drafting to revising to editing. The focus of each session depends on the individual student’s needs and goals.
The Monmouth College Writing Center strives to develop better writers and not just better individual papers. With this goal in mind, the peer tutors work interactively with writers, helping them to develop and improve their overall writing skills.
The Writing Center is open Sunday-Thursday 7pm-10pm, and Monday-Thursday 3pm-5pm. We are located on the third floor of the Mellinger Learning Center, between Graham and Fulton Hall and just up the hill from HT Science Center. To find out which tutors are on duty when, check out the Writing Center Spring Schedule 2016.
